we skinned and sliced to dices a whole boar using stone tools (knapped by ourselves that morning from good quality flint that was common and widely used in prehistoric hungary), apart from the hunting the whole process was pretty authentic

then we cooked it in three cauldrons

it was a really cool community building - experimental archaeology event held at százhalombatta’s archaeology park, in which most of the hungarian universities that lecture archaeology represented itself with a handful of students
